Ingredients needed

Step 1:

Drain and rinse the jackfruit pods.

Step 2:

Shred the jackfruit into a "carnitas" texture.

Step 3:

Add all ingredients to the slow cooker bowl.

Step 4:

Mix to combine and evenly disperse spices.

Step 5:

Cook on low for 8 hours.

Step 6:

Spread the jackfruit carnitas meat on a baking sheet.

Step 7:

Broil until crispy! 

Step 8:

Add jackfruit taco meat to a tortilla and enjoy!
