Base Oatmeal Ingredients

Add-ins for Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal flavor

  • 3 apples diced ($1.92)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon ($0.17)
  • 1/2 tsp ginger ($0.25)
  • ยผ tsp nutmeg ($0.13)
  • 1 tsp vanilla ($0.58)
  • 2 cups pecans or walnuts chopped, optional for topping ($3.50)

Add-ins for PB&J Oatmeal Flavor

  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter ($1.50)
  • 1/2 cup jelly ($1.50) for serving
  • fresh fruit, peanuts, additional peanut butter for serving

Add-ins for Banana Walnut Oatmeal Flavor

  • 2 bananas mashed
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 cups walnuts chopped, plus more as desired

Instructions
 

Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal

  • Add all base oatmeal ingredients to the slow cooker along with the cinnamon apple oatmeal flavor ingredients. Stir through and slow cook for 7-8 hours on low.
  • Serve with pecans, walnuts, and freshly chopped apples.

PB&J Oatmeal

  • Add all base oatmeal ingredients to the slow cooker along with the natural peanut butter. Stir through and slow cook for 7-8 hours on low.
  • Serve with jelly, fresh fruit, peanuts, and additional peanut butter.

Banana Walnut Oatmeal

  • Mash the bananas in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Add all base ingredients, along with 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Cook for 7-8 hours on low.
  • Serve with chopped walnuts, sliced bananas, and maple syrup to taste.
